Base Plate for Scaffolding Props

A Base Plate is a flat steel plate welded to the bottom of scaffolding props, jacks, or standards, designed to provide a stable foundation and distribute the load evenly to the ground. It prevents the props from sinking into soft surfaces and ensures safety, balance, and rigidity of the scaffolding structure.
NOVSA manufactures Base Plates using high-strength steel, available in different sizes, thicknesses, and finishes to suit various project needs.

NOVSA Base Plates

  • Manufactured from premium-grade mild steel / carbon steel.
  • Standard plate sizes: 120 × 120 mm, 150 × 150 mm, 160 × 160 mm (custom sizes available).
  • Thickness: 5 mm – 8 mm (depending on load requirement).
  • Central hole: 38 mm – 50 mm to suit scaffolding props & standards.
  • Surface Finish: Hot-Dip Galvanized, Zinc-Plated, or Painted.
  • Complies with BS 1139 & EN 74 standards.
